Navigation (Tonnage Measurement) Regulations2 (Amendment)

I, THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL of the Commonwealth of Australia, acting with the advice of the Federal Executive Council, hereby make the following Regulations under the Navigation Act 191 2.

Deduction of tonnage for purposes of paragraph 15 (1) (a)

1. Regulation 16 of the Navigation (Tonnage Measurement) Regulations is amended by omitting from sub-paragraph (2) (a) (i) "with those Regulations" and substituting "with the requirements of those Regulations in their application to that ship".

2. The Navigation (Tonnage Measurement) Regulations are amended by adding after regulation 27 the following regulation:

Prescribed countries for the purposes of section 405M of the Act

"28. For the purposes of section 405M of the Act, each of the countries specified in Schedule 8 is prescribed.".

3. The Navigation (Tonnage Measurement) Regulations are amended by adding at the end thereof the following Schedule:
