Navigation (Supplementary) Regulations2 (Amendment)

I, THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL of the Commonwealth of Australia, acting with the advice of the Federal Executive Council, make the following Regulations under the Navigation Act 1912.

1. Amendment

1.1 The Navigation (Supplementary) Regulations are amended as set out in these Regulations.

2. Regulation 3 (Prescribed officer for purposes of subsection 389a (3) of the Act)

2.1 Omit the regulation, substitute:

Prescribed officer—subsection 389a (3) of the Act

“3. For the purposes of subsection 389a of the Act each person for the time being occupying, or performing the duties of any of the following offices in the Authority is a prescribed officer:

(a) Manager, Eastern Region:

(b) Manager, Southern Region:

(c) Manager, Western Region.”.
