Navigation (Orders) Regulations2 (Amendment)

I, THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL of the Commonwealth of Australia, acting with the advice of the Federal Executive Council, make the following Regulations under the Navigation Act 1912.

1. Amendment

1.1 The Navigation (Orders) Regulations are amended as set out in these Regulations.

2. Regulation 2 (Interpretation)

2.1 Definition of “Secretary”:

Omit the definition.

3. Regulation 3 (Minister may make orders)

3.1 Omit the regulation.

4. Regulation 3a (Reconsideration of decisions made under orders)

4.1 Subregulation 3a (1) (definition of “initial decision”):

Omit “made in pursuance of sub-regulation 3 (3)”.

5. Regulation 5 (Minister may grant exemptions)

5.1 Omit the regulation.
