REGULATIONS UNDER THE NAVIGATION ACT 1912-1965.*

I, THE ADMINISTRATOR of the Government of the Commonwealth of Australia, acting with the advice of the Federal Executive Council, hereby make the following Regulations under the Navigation Act 1912-1965.

Amendments of the Navigation (Master and Seamen) Regulations 

Entries relating to births, deaths, &c., in log-book.

1. Regulation 25 of the Navigation (Master and Seamen) Regulations is amended by omitting from sub-regulation (2.) the word “officer” and inserting in its stead the word “person”.

The Second Schedule.

2. Form 7 in the Second Schedule to the Navigation (Master and Seamen) Regulations is amended—

(a) by omitting the words “, subject to the approval of the Superintendent,”;

(b) by omitting the word “Approved.”; and

(c) by omitting the words “(Signature of Superintendent.)”.

The Second Schedule.

3. Form 12 in the Second Schedule to the Navigation (Master and Seamen) Regulations is amended by omitting Part V.
