I, THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL of the Commonwealth of Australia, acting with the advice of the Federal Executive Council, hereby make the following

Regulations under the Navigation Act 1912.

1. Regulation 2 of the Navigation (Hospital Accommodation) Regu- lations is repealed and the following regulation substituted:

Interpretation

"2. In these Regulations, unless the contrary intention appears, 'ship' means a passenger ship to which Part II of the Navigation Act 1912 applies other than such a ship that is ordinarily on a route where it can, at any time, reach a port within 48 hours.".

Commencement

2. Regulation 1 shall come into operation on 26 January 1982.
