Navigation (Grain) Regulations2 (Amendment)

I, THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL of the Commonwealth of Australia, acting with the advice of the Federal Executive Council, hereby make the following Regulations under the Navigation Act 1912.

Commencement

1. These Regulations shall come into operation on 26 January 1982.

Interpretation

2. Regulation 4 of the Navigation (Grain) Regulations is amended by omitting "''Navigation Act 1912-1967" from the definition of "the Act" in sub-regulation (1) and substituting ''"Navigation Act 1912".

Application

3. Regulation 5 of the Navigation (Grain) Regulations is amended by omitting sub-regulation (1) and substituting the following sub-regulation:

"(1) These Regulations apply, except where otherwise provided, to and in relation to all ships, including ships to which Part II of the Act does not apply.".

First Schedule

4. The First Schedule to the Navigation (Grain) Regulations is amended by omitting "Port of Registry:" and substituting "Home Port or Port of Registry:".
