REGULATIONS UNDER THE NAVIGATION ACT 1912-1961.*

I, THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL in and over the Commonwealth of Australia, acting with the advice of the Federal Executive Council, hereby make the following Regulations under the Navigation Act 1912-1961.

Amendments of the Navigation (Fees and Allowances of Members of Committees) Regulations. 

Travelling allowance.

1. Regulation 7 of the Navigation (Fees and Allowances of Members of Committees) Regulations is amended by omitting the words “at the rate of Four pounds ten shillings per day” and inserting in their stead the words “at the rate specified in sub-regulation (2.) of regulation 75a of the Public Service Regulations”.

Meal allowances.

2. Regulation 9 of the Navigation (Fees and Allowances of Members of Committees) Regulations is amended—

(a) by omitting the words “Six shillings and six pence” and inserting in their stead the words “Seven shillings and six pence”;

(b) by omitting the words “Eight shillings” and inserting in their stead the words “Seven shillings and six pence”; and

(c) by omitting the words “Twelve shillings and six pence” and inserting in their stead the words “Fifteen shillings”.
