REGULATIONS UNDER THE NAVIGATION ACT 19121

I, THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL of the Commonwealth of Australia, acting with the advice of the Federal Executive Council, hereby make the following Regulations under the Navigation Act 1912.

AMENDMENTS OF THE NAVIGATION (DANGEROUS GOODS) REGULATIONS2

Commencement

1. These Regulations shall come into operation on 1 October 1979.

Fees

2. Regulation 8 of the Navigation (Dangerous Goods) Regulations is amended—

(a) by omitting from sub-paragraph (i) of paragraph (a) of sub-regulation (1) "$24"and substituting "$120";

(b) by omitting from sub-paragraph (ii) of paragraph (a) of sub-regulation (1) "$12" and substituting "$60";

(c) by omitting from paragraph "(b) of sub-regulation (1) "$12" and substituting "$60";

(d) by omitting from paragraph (a) of sub-regulation (2) "$32" and substituting "$160";

(e) by omitting from paragraph (b) of sub-regulation (2) "$26" and substituting "$130";

(f) by omitting from paragraph (c) of sub-regulation (2) "$14" and substituting "$70";

(g) by omitting from paragraph (a) of sub-regulation (3) "$16" and substituting "$80";

(h) by omitting from paragraph (b) of sub-regulation (3) "$14" and substituting "$70";

(i) by omitting from paragraph (c) of sub-regulation (3) "$8" and substituting "$40";

(j) by omitting from sub-regulation (5) "$12" and substituting "$60"; and

(k) by omitting from sub-regulation (5) "$48" and substituting "$240".

NOTES

1. Notified in the Commonwealth of Australia Gazette on 27 September 1979.
