REGULATIONS UNDER THE NAVIGATION ACT 19121

I, THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL of the Commonwealth of Australia, acting with the advice of the Federal Executive Council, hereby make the following Regulations under the Navigation Act 1912.

Amendments of the Navigation (Crew Accommodation) Regulations2

Sanitary accommodation

 1.Regulation 53 of the Navigation (Crew Accommodation) Regulations is amended by inserting in paragraph (a) of sub-regulation (2) “and for the chief engineer” after “master”.

Washing accommodation

 2. Regulation 57 of the Navigation (Crew Accommodation) Regulations is amended by inserting in paragraph (a) of sub-regulation (3) “and for the chief engineer” after “master”.

 3. The Navigation (Crew Accommodation) Regulations are amended as set out in the Schedule.
