Navigation (Crew Accommodation) Regulations2 (Amendment)

I, THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL of the Commonwealth of Australia, acting with the advice of the Federal Executive Council, hereby make the following Regulations under the Navigation Act 1912.

Commencement

1. These Regulations shall come into operation on 26 January 1982.

Application of Regulations

2.Regulation 4 of the Navigation (Crew Accommodation) Regulations is amended by omitting "registered in Australia or engaged in the coasting trade" and substituting "to which Part II of the Act applies".

Plans to be submitted

3. Regulation 11 of the Navigation (Crew Accommodation) Regulations is amended by omitting from sub-regulation (1) all the words from and including "ship which" to and including "being constructed" and substituting "ship is to be constructed, being a ship that, it is intended, will be a ship to which Part II of the Act applies,".
