Navigation (Compass) Regulations2 (Amendment)

I, THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL of the Commonwealth of Australia, acting with the advice of the Federal Executive Council, hereby make the following Regulations under the Navigation Act 1912.

Commencement

1. These Regulations commence on 1 January 1990.

Principal Regulations

2. In these Regulations, "Principal Regulations" means the Navigation (Compass) Regulations.

Examination Fee

3. Regulation 12Aof the Principal Regulations is amended by omitting "168" and substituting "191".

Fees for adjustment of compasses

4. Regulation 17 of the Principal Regulations is amended:

(a) by omitting from the table at the end of subregulation (2) "291" (twice occurring) and substituting "330";

(b) by omitting from the table at the end of subregulation (2) "485" (thrice occurring) and substituting "550";

(c) by omitting from paragraph (3) (a) "36" and substituting "38";

(d) by omitting from paragraph (3) (b) "36" and "108" and substituting "38" and "114" respectively;

(e) by omitting from subregulation (4) "111" and substituting "118";

(f) by omitting from subregulation (5) "97" and substituting "110";

(g) by omitting from subregulation (6) "161" and substituting "183".
