Navigation (Coasting Trade) Regulations2 (Amendment)

I, THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL of the Commonwealth of Australia, acting with the advice of the Federal Executive Council, hereby make the following Regulations under the Navigation Act 1912.

Commencement

1. These Regulations shall come into operation on 1 October 1986.

Permits to unlicensed ships to engage in coasting trade

2. Regulation 25 of the Navigation (Coasting Trade) Regulations is amended—

(a) by omitting from sub-paragraph (5) (b) (i) all the words after “not apply—” and substituting “$135; or”; and

(b) by omitting from sub-paragraph (5) (b) (ii) all the words after “is made—” and substituting “$270;”.
