NAVIGATION (CINEMATOGRAPH FILM) REGULATIONS - SECT. 1.
Citation

1. These Regulations may be cited as the Navigation (Cinematograph Film)
Regulations.*1*

NAVIGATION (CINEMATOGRAPH FILM) REGULATIONS - SECT. 2.
Repeal

2. The Navigation (Cinematograph Film) Regulations (being Statutory Rules 1959, No. 43) are repealed.

NAVIGATION (CINEMATOGRAPH FILM) REGULATIONS - SECT. 3.
Cellulose-nitrate-based film

3. (1) Where cellulose-nitrate-based film is used in cinematograph equipment on a ship to which Part II of the Navigation Act 1912 applies, the owner and master of the ship are each guilty of an offence against this sub-regulation.


(2) Where cellulose-nitrate-based film is used in cinematograph equipment on a ship (other than a ship referred to in the last preceding sub-regulation) while the ship is in a port in Australia, the owner, master and agent of the ship are each guilty of an offence against this sub-regulation.


(3) A person who is guilty of an offence against either of the last two preceding sub-regulations is liable, on summary conviction, to a penalty not exceeding Two hundred dollars.
