NAVIGATION ACT 1901-RULE

(Amendment consequent on the dissolution of the Maritime Services Board)

HIS Excellency the Governor, with the advice of the Executive Council, and in pursuance of the Navigation Act 1901, has been pleased to make the Rule set forth hereunder.

The Navigation (Court of Marine Inquiry-Assessors) Rules—N.S.W.

are amended by omitting Rule 7 (b).

EXPLANATORY NOTE

The object of this Rule is to omit a provision of the Navigation (Court of Marine

Inquiry--Assessors) Rules—N.S.W. that is obsolete because of the dissolution of the Maritime Services Board on 1 July 1995 (by the Ports Corporatisation and Waterways

Management Act 1995).

This Rule is made under section 18 (Assessors) of the Navigation Act 1901.
