Made by the Governor in Executive Council.

1.            Citation

These regulations are the Navigable Waters Amendment

2.            Commencement

These regulations come into operation as follows -

(a) regulations 1 and 2 - on the day on which these regulations are published in the Gazette;
(b) the rest of the regulations - on the day after that day.

3.           Regulations amended

These regulations amend the Navigable Waters
Regulations 1958.

4.           Regulation 2 amended

(1) In regulation 2 delete the definitions of:

NSCV
(2) Delete the note at the end of regulation 2.

5.            Regulation 52B amended

Delete regulation 52B(2) and insert:

(2) The parachute distress rockets required by

subregulations (1)(a)(ii) and (la)(a) must comply with

the Marine Orders Part 25 (Commonwealth).

(2AA) The other distress signals required by

subregulations (1) and (la) must comply with -

(a) the Marine Orders Part 25 (Commonwealth); or
(b) Pyrotechnic craft
