REGULATIONS UNDER THE NAVAL DEFENCE ACT 1910-1965.*

I, THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL in and over the Commonwealth of Australia, acting with the advice of the Federal Executive Council, hereby make the following Regulations under the Naval Defence Act 1910-1965.

Amendments of the Naval Volunteer Reserve Regulations 

Persons ineligible.

1. Regulation 5 of the Naval Volunteer Reserve Regulations is amended—

(a) by omitting paragraph (f) of sub-regulation (1.);

(b) by omitting paragraphs (b)and (c) of sub-regulation (2.); and

(c) by omitting sub-regulations (3.), (4.) and (5.).

Liability for War Service.

2. Regulation 6 of the Naval Volunteer Reserve Regulations, and the heading immediately preceding that Regulation, are repealed.

Duration of engagement.

3. Regulation 10 of the Naval Volunteer Reserve Regulations is amended by omitting sub-regulations (3.) and (4.).

Retirement.

4. Regulation 11 of the Naval Volunteer Reserve Regulations is amended by omitting sub-regulation (2.).

Repeal.

5. Regulations 17 to 21 (inclusive) of the Naval Volunteer Reserve Regulations, and the heading immediately preceding Regulation 17, are repealed.

Repeal.

6. Regulations 22 to 30 (inclusive), 36, 37, 40, 41, 42 and 44 of the Naval Volunteer Reserve Regulations, and the headings immediately preceding Regulations 22, 28 and 40, respectively, are repealed.
