Naval Forces Regulations2 (Amendment)

I, THE MINISTER OF STATE FOR AVIATION acting for and on behalf of the Minister of State for Defence, hereby make the following Interim Determination under section 12 of the Defence Amendment Act 1979.

Leave without pay

1. Regulation 147 of the Naval Forces Regulations is amended—

(a) by omitting sub-regulation (1);

(b) by inserting in sub-regulation (2) ", determinations made under section 58b of the Defence Act 1903" after "Subject to these regulations"; and

(c) by omitting from sub-regulations (2) and (3) "this regulation" and substituting "Determination 2608, Leave Without Pay, made under section 58b of the Defence Act 1903".

Repeal

2. Regulations 178 and 183 of the Naval Forces Regulations are repealed.

Application

3. This Interim Determination shall take effect on the day on which Determination 2608, Leave Without Pay, is made under section 58b of the Defence Act 1903.
