1940. No.217.

REGULATIONS UNDER THE NAVAL DEFENCE ACT 1910-1934.*

I,THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL in and over the Commonwealth of Australia, acting with the advice of the Federal Executive Council, hereby make the following Regulations under the Naval Defence Act 1910-1934.

Amendments of the Naval Forces Regulations. 

Training of Cadet Midshipmen (Special Entry).

1. Regulation 49b of the Naval Forces Regulations is amended by inserting, after the words “shall be”, the words “similar to”.

Composition of Auxiliary Services.

2. Regulation 84 of the Naval Forces Regulations is amended by inserting in the Table in sub-regulation (5), after the words—

“Officer in Charge, Shore Wireless Service | Commander”

the words—

“Superintendent, Naval Dockyard Police .. │Commander”.

Superintendent, Naval Dockyard Police.

3. After regulation 97 of the Naval Forces Regulations the following regulation is inserted:—

“97a.The Governor-General may appoint a person to be Superintendent of the Naval Dockyard Police.”.
