REGULATIONS UNDER THE NAVAL DEFENCE
ACT 1910-1918.
I,
THE DEPUTY OF THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL in and over the Commonwealth of Australia,
acting with the advice of the Federal Executive Council, hereby make the
following Regulations under the Naval
Defence Act 1910-1918, to come into operation forthwith.

Amendment of Naval Forces Regulations.

Rules 1926, No. 196, as amended to present date.)
(Fourth Amendment.)
1. Regulation 57 is
amended by omitting from paragraph (b)
the words “British subjects” and inserting in their stead the words “or
naturalized British subjects: provided that the Minister may reject the
application of any candidate who is the son of a naturalized British subject”.
2.
Regulation 71 is amended by omitting from paragraph (b) of sub-regulation (2) the words “British subjects” and inserting
in their stead the words “or naturalized British subjects: provided that the
Minister may reject the application of any candidate who is the son of a
naturalized British subject”.
3. Regulation 73 is
amended by omitting from paragraph (b)the words “British subjects” and
inserting in their stead the words “or naturalized British subjects: provided
that the Minister may reject the application of any candidate who is the son of
a naturalized British subject”.
