REGULATIONS UNDER THE NAVAL DEFENCE ACT 1910-1965.*

I, THE ADMINISTRATOR of the Government of the Commonwealth of Australia, acting with the advice of the Federal Executive Council, hereby make the following Regulations under the Naval Defence Act 1910-1965.

Amendments of the Naval Financial Regulation 

Medical and dental officers—active pay.

1.Regulation 10 of the Naval Financial Regulations is amended by omitting from sub-regulation (2.) the words “Five pounds three shillings and ninepence” and inserting in their stead the words “Five pounds five shillings and fivepence”.

Chaplains—active pay.

2.Regulation 12 of the Naval Financial Regulations is amended by omitting the table and inserting in its stead the following table:—

Application.

8. The amendments of the Naval Financial Regulations effected by the preceding regulations of these Regulations apply in relation to—

(a) service in the Permanent Naval Forces on and after the ninth day of July, 1965;

(b)service in the Naval Emergency Reserve Forces or Citizen Naval Forces, being service to which regulation 264 of the Naval Financial Regulations applies, on and after the ninth day of July, 1965; and

(c) service in the Naval Emergency Reserve Forces or Citizen Naval Forces, not being service to which regulation 264 of the Naval Financial Regulations applies, on and after the first day of July, 1965.
