STATUTORY RULES
REGULATIONS UNDER THE NAVAL DEFENCE ACT 1910-1965.*
I, THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL
in and over the Commonwealth of Australia, acting with the advice of the
Federal Executive Council, hereby make the following Regulations under the

Amendments of the Naval Financial Regulations
(
a ) by omitting from sub-regulation (3.) the words “Five thousand six hundred and twenty-five pounds” and inserting in their stead the words “Five thousand seven hundred and nine pounds”; and(
b ) by omitting from sub-regulation (4.) the words “Four thousand seven hundred and eighty-five pounds” and inserting in their stead the words “Four thousand eight hundred and fifty-seven pounds”.
(2.) The amendments of the Naval Financial Regulations effected by the last preceding sub-regulation apply in relation to service in the rank of Rear Admiral or Commodore on and after the ninth day of July, 1965.
“(1.) The daily rate of active pay of a service woman holding the rating of Recruit Wran is the daily rate of active pay specified in the Table in sub-regulation (3.) of this regulation in relation to a service woman holding the rating of Wran and included in Group I.”

a ) service as an officer of the Medical Branch or the Dental Branch of the Permanent Naval Forces; and(
b ) service as an officer of the Medical Branch or the Dental Branch of the Naval Emergency Reserve Forces or the Citizen Naval Forces, being continuous full time naval service in relation to which regulation 264 of the Naval Financial Regulations applies,
on and after the ninth day of July, 1965.
(2.) The rates of pay specified in Part 2 of Table 1 of the Seventeenth Schedule to the Naval Financial Regulations as amended by these Regulations apply to and in relation to service as an officer of the Medical Branch or the Dental Branch of the Naval Emergency Reserve Forces or the Citizen Naval Forces, other than continuous full time naval service in relation to which regulation 264 of the Naval Financial Regulations applies, on and after the first day of July, 1965.
