INTERIM DETERMINATION UNDER THE DEFENCE

AMENDMENT ACT 19791

I, the Minister of State for Administrative Services acting for and on behalf of the Minister of State for Defence, hereby make the following Interim Determination under section 12 of the Defence Amendment Act 1979.

AMENDMENTS OF THE NAVAL FINANCIAL REGULATIONS2

Allowances payable in respect of authorized journey

 1. Regulation 200 of the Naval Financial Regulations is amended—

• (a)

  by omitting the table in paragraph (b) of sub-regulation (1) and substituting the following table:

• (b)

• (c)

  by omitting from sub-regulation (3) “$5.00” and substituting “$5.90”; and

• (d)

  by omitting from sub-regulation (3) “$3.90” and substituting “$4.30”.

Application

• 2.

  The Naval Financial Regulations as amended by this determination apply in relation to an authorized journey within the meaning of Division 2 of Part X of those Regulations, or part of such an authorized journey, made on or after 8 May 1980.
