Naval Financial Regulations2 (Amendment)

I, THE MINISTER OF STATE FOR ADMINISTRATIVE SERVICES acting for and on behalf of the Minister of State for Defence, hereby make the following Interim Determination under section 12 of the Defence Amendment Act 1979.

Outfit Allowance

1. Regulation 168 of the Naval Financial Regulations is amended—

(a) by adding at the end of sub-regulation (1) “and to a member of the Citizen Naval Forces who commences a period of continuous full time service of more than 12 months”; and

(b) by inserting after “the Permanent Naval Forces” in sub-regulation (2) “or a member of the Citizen Naval Forces who renders a period of continuous full time service of more than 12 months”.

Uniform

2. Regulation 295 of the Naval Financial Regulations is amended by inserting in sub-regulation (1) after “officer” (first occurring) “, other than an officer rendering a period of continuous full time service of more than 12 months”.
