I, THE
MINISTER OF STATE FOR AVIATION acting for and on behalf of the Minister of
State for Defence, hereby make the following Interim Determination under
section 12 of the Defence Amendment Act
1979.

Repeal
1. Regulation 108 of the
Naval Financial Regulations is repealed.
Special
area allowance
2. Regulation 111 of the
Naval Financial Regulations is amended by omitting “district allowance or
Woomera allowance under this Division; Determination 0301, District Allowance;
or Determination 0305, Antarctic Allowance;” and substituting “an allowance
under Determination 0301, District Allowance; Determination 0302, Woomera
Allowance; Determination 0305, Antarctic Allowance; or Determination 0306,
Broken Hill Allowance,”.
Application
3. This Interim
Determination shall take effect on the day on which Determination 0302, Woomera
Allowance and Determination 0306, Broken Hill Allowance, are made under section
58b of the Defence Act 1903.
