I, THE MINISTER OF STATE FOR AVIATION acting for and on behalf of the Minister of State for Defence, hereby make the following Interim Determination under section 12 of the Defence Amendment Act 1979.

Chaplains' equipment allowance

Regulation 122A of the Naval Financial Regulations is amended by adding at the end thereof the following sub-regulation:

"(5) Chaplains' equipment allowance is not payable to an officer of the Chaplains' Branch in respect of his appointment or service on or after 1 September 1984.".
