Financial Regulations2 (Amendment)
I, THE MINISTER OF STATE FOR AVIATION acting for and on
behalf of the Minister of State for Defence, hereby make the following Interim
Determination under section 12 of the Defence Amendment Act 1979.

Fees for witness before Service
tribunal
1. Regulation 142 of the Naval
Financial Regulations is amended by omitting sub-regulation (2).
Definitions
2. Regulation 198 of the Naval
Financial Regulations is amended by omitting the definitions of
"authorized journey" and "capital city".
Repeal
3. Regulations 199, 200, 201, 202,
203, 204 and 205 of the Naval Financial Regulations are repealed.
Shipboard allowance
4. Regulation 210 of the Naval
Financial Regulations is amended by inserting in paragraph (a) of
sub-regulation (2) "or under Determination 0401, Travelling Allowance,
made under section 58b of the Defence Act 1903"
after "Division".
Meal allowance
5. Regulation 211 of the Naval
Financial Regulations is amended by inserting in paragraph (a) of
sub-regulation (1) "or under Determination 0401, Travelling Allowance,
made under section 58b of the Defence Act 1903" after "Division".
Application
6. This
Interim Determination shall take effect on the day on which Determination 0401,
Travelling Allowance, is made under section 58b of the Defence Act 1903.
