Naval Financial Regulations2 (Amendment)

I, THE MINISTER OF STATE FOR AVIATION acting for and on behalf of the Minister of State for Defence, hereby make the following Interim Determination under section 12 of the Defence Amendment Act 1979.

Repeal

1. Regulation 91 of the Naval Financial Regulations is repealed.

Stoppage of salary and allowances during imprisonment, etc.

2. Regulation 129 of the Naval Financial Regulations is amended by omitting from paragraph (b) of sub-regulation (2) "regulation 91" and substituting "Determination 0806, Detained Member's Dependant Allowance, made under section 58b of the Defence Act 1903".

Schedule 3

3. Schedule 3 to the Naval Financial Regulations is amended—

(a) by omitting from Part I "Regulation 18", "Regulation 73", "Regulation 91", "Regulation 109", "Regulation 181" and "Regulation 182"; and

(b) by omitting from Part II "Regulation 181", "Regulation 182" and "Regulation 185".

Application

4. This Interim Determination shall take effect on the day on which Determination 0806, Detained Member's Dependant Allowance, is made under section 58b of the Defence Act 1903.
