Naval Financial Regulations2 (Amendment)

I, THE MINISTER OF STATE FOR AVIATION acting for and on behalf of the Minister of State for Defence, hereby make the following Interim Determination under section 12 of the Defence Amendment Act 1979.

Gratuities not payable in certain cases

1. Regulation 159 of the Naval Financial Regulations is amended—

(a) by omitting from paragraph (1) (a) "or the Defence Force (Bounties and Gratuities) Regulations" and substituting "or Determination 0705, Gratuities, made under section 58b of the Defence Act 1903"; and

(b) by omitting from paragraph (2) (a) "or regulation 14 of the Defence Force (Bounties and Gratuities) Regulations" and substituting "or clause 10 of Determination 0705, Gratuities, made under section 58b of the Defence Act 1903".

Application

2. This Interim Determination shall take effect on the day on which Determination 0705, Gratuities, is made under section 58b of the Defence Act 1903.
