REGULATIONS UNDER THE NAVAL DEFENCE ACT 1910-1918.

I, THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL in and over the Commonwealth of Australia, acting with the advice of the Federal Executive Council, hereby make the following Regulations, under the Naval Defence Act 1910-1918, to come into operation forthwith, unless otherwise specified herein.

Amendment of Naval Financial Regulations.

(Statutory Rules 1926, No. 198.)

(First Amendment.)

1. Regulation 23 is amended as from 1st January, 1927, by omitting from the scale of pay of Ship’s Cook the rates “7s. 4d.”, “7s. 6d.”, and “7s. 8d.”, and inserting in their stead the rates “7s. 6d.”, “7s. 8d.”, and “7s. 10d.” respectively.

2. The provisions of the Naval Financial Regulations (Statutory Rules 1926, No. 198) shall, in so far as they relate to the rates of active pay which shall be paid to officers of the rank of Captain or Commander on the Auxiliary List of the Permanent Naval Forces, as prescribed in sub-regulation (1) of regulation 64 of the aforementioned Regulations, apply as from 1st July, 1926, and not otherwise.
