REGULATIONS UNDER THE NAVAL DEFENCE ACT 1910-1918.

I, THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL in and over the Commonwealth of Australia, acting with the advice of the Federal Executive Council, hereby make the following Regulations, under the Naval Defence Act 1910-1918, to come into operation forthwith unless otherwise specified herein.

Amendment of Naval Financial Regulations.

(Statutory Rules 1926, No. 198, as amended to present date.)

(Ninth Amendment.)

1. Regulation 48 is amended as follows:—

(1) by inserting after the words “Ratings under Training” in sub-regulation (55) (c) the words “and other ratings not included in (a) or (b)”.

(2) by omitting sub-regulation 65 and inserting in its stead the following sub-regulation:—

2. Regulation 64, sub-regulation (1), is amended, as from 1st March, 1929, by omitting from the scale of Rates of Pay the particulars and rates of pay of Naval Dockyard Police and inserting in their stead the following:—

3. Regulation 72, sub-regulation (5), is amended, as from 1st March, 1929, by omitting the words “and Senior Constable”.

4. Regulation 74 is amended, as from 1st March, 1929, by omitting sub-regulation (9) and inserting in its stead the following sub-regulation:—

“(9) The daily rates of Deferred Pay shall be as follow:—
