REGULATIONS UNDER THE NAVAL DEFENCE ACT 1910-1966.*

Amendments of the Naval Establishments Regulations
" 43b. An officer or employee on appointment, promotion or transfer to the position of Inspector (Stores), Grade 1 may, subject to the approval of the Naval Board, be paid an outfit gratuity of Ninety dollars.".

(2.) Subject to the next succeeding sub-regulation, a rate or scale of rates of annual salary specified in the Third Schedule to the Naval Establishments Regulations as amended by these Regulations applies to and in relation to service, on and after the second day of February, 1967, in a position in relation to which it is specified.
(3.) Subject to regulation 43 of the Naval Establishments Regulations, the rate or scale of rates of annual salary payable to a person who occupied a position referred to in the following table during the period from and including the second day of February, 1967, to and including the day immediately before the day on which these Regulations came into operation or during a part of that period is, in respect of that period or that part of that period, the rate or scale of rates specified in that table opposite to the reference to the position in lieu of the appropriate rate or scale of rates specified in the Third Schedule to the Naval Establishments Regulations:—

(4.) The scale of rates of annual salary specified in item 89 of Part I. of the Third Schedule to the Naval Establishments Regulations as amended by these Regulations applies to and in relation to service in a position of Assistant Inspecting Officer (Central Storekeeping), Inspection Assistant, Grade 1 (Central Storekeeping), Inspection Assistant, Grade 2 (Central Storekeeping) or Senior Assistant Inspecting Officer (Central Storekeeping) on and after the second day of February, 1967.
(5.) The scale of rates of annual salary specified in item 90 in Part I. of the Third Schedule to the Naval Establishments Regulations as amended by these Regulations applies to and in relation to service in a position of Inspecting Officer (Central Storekeeping) on and after the second day of February, 1967.
(6.) The scale of rates of annual salary specified in item 91 of Part I. of the Third Schedule to the Naval Establishments Regulations as amended by these Regulations applies to and in relation to service in a position of Senior Inspecting Officer (Central Storekeeping) on and after the second day of February, 1967.
