STATUTORY RULES

1967 No. 137

REGULATIONS UNDER THE NAVAL DEFENCE ACT 1910-1966.*

I, THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL in and over the Commonwealth of Australia, acting with the advice of the Federal Executive Council, hereby make the following Regulations under the Naval Defence Act 1910-1966.

Amendments of the Naval Establishments Regulations 

Variation of salaries.

1.—(1.) Regulation 44 of the Naval Establishments Regulations is amended by omitting the table in sub-regulation (1.) and inserting in its stead the following table:—

(2.) Regulation 44 of the Naval Establishments Regulations as amended by these Regulations applies to salary payable to an officer or employee in respect of the sixth day of July, 1967, or any subsequent day.

Third Schedule.

2.—(1.) The Third Schedule to the Naval Establishments Regulations is amended by inserting after item 16 in Part I. the following items:—

" 16a	Experimental Officer, Class 3	6,013-6,267-6,521-6,775
" 16b	Experimental Officer, Class 4	7,027-7,281-7,535 ".

(2.) The Third Schedule to the Naval Establishments Regulations is amended by omitting items 72 and 105 in Part I. and inserting in their stead the following items, respectively:—

" 72	Drafting Assistant, Grade 2 ..	2,718-2,823-2,926-3,031-3,134-3,239, and
" 105	Senior Drafting Officer, Grade 2 ..	4,843-5,031-5,219 ".

Fourth Schedule.

3.—(1.) The Fourth Schedule to the Naval Establishments Regulations is repealed and the following Schedule inserted in its stead:—

(2.) The rates of annual salary specified in the Fourth Schedule to the Naval Establishments Regulations as amended by these Regulations apply to and in relation to service on or after the eighth day of June, 1967.
