REGULATIONS UNDER THE NAVAL DEFENCE

ACT 1910-1949.*

I ,THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL in and over the Commonwealth of Australia, acting with the advice of the Federal Executive Council, hereby make the following Regulations under the Naval Defence Act 1910-1949.

Amendments of the Naval Establishments Regulations. 

Eligibility for appointment as officer.

1. Regulation 7a of the Naval. Establishments Regulations is amended by omitting from paragraph (a)of sub-regulation (1) the words “ natural-born or naturalized British subject ” and inserting in their stead the words “ British subject or naturalized person ”.

Rates of Pay.

2.—(1.) Regulation 43 of the Naval Establishments Regulations is amended by omitting from sub-regulation (1) the table and inserting in its stead the following table :—
