STATUTORY RULES.

1927. No. 82.

REGULATIONS UNDER THE NAVAL DEFENCE ACT 1910-1918.

I, THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL in and over the Commonwealth of Australia, acting with the advice of the Federal Executive Council, hereby make the following Regulations, under the Naval Defence Act 1910-1918, to come into operation forthwith.

Amendment of Naval College Regulations.

(Statutory Rules 1926, No. 181.)

(Second Amendment.)

1. Regulation 6, sub-paragraph (a), is amended—

(i) by inserting after the words “natural-born” the words “or naturalized”,

(ii) by adding at the end the following:—

“provided that the Minister may reject the application of any candidate who is the son of a naturalized British subject or who is not of pure European descent.”
