Nature Conservation (Protected Areas) (National Parks—Aboriginal Land) Amendment Regulation 2023 (Qld)

1   Short title

This regulation may be cited as the Nature Conservation (Protected Areas) (National Parks—Aboriginal Land) Amendment Regulation 2023.

2   Regulation amended

This regulation amends the Nature Conservation (Protected Areas) Regulation 1994.

3   Insertion of new pt 2AA

After part 2—
insert—

Part 2AA    National parks (Aboriginal land)

6AAA    Dedication and naming of national parks (Aboriginal land)

Each of the areas of land described in schedule 3B, column 2 is—

(a)dedicated as a national park (Aboriginal land); and

(b)assigned the name set out opposite it in the schedule, column 1.

4   Amendment of sch 2 (National parks)

Schedule 2, entry for Boodjamulla (Lawn Hill) National Park—
omit, insert—

Boodjamulla (Lawn Hill) National Park Lot 17 on plan NPW627, other than lot 18 on SP326431 and lot 17 on SP326433, containing an area of about 202,293ha

5   Insertion of new sch 3B

After schedule 3A—
insert—

Schedule 3B National parks (Aboriginal land)
