s1 2 s4 Nature Conservation (Macropod Harvest Period) No. 359, 1995 ˙ Short title 1. This notice may be cited as the Nature Conservation (Macropod Harvest Period) Notice 1995 . ˙ Prescribed size and weight of macropod for this notice 2. For this notice, a macropod is— (a) the prescribed size if it has a skin size of 0.37m 2 or more; and (b) the prescribed weight if— (i) its carcass weighs 12 kg or more after its lungs, liver, heart and diaphragm are removed; or (ii) its carcass weighs 13 kg or more with its lungs, liver, heart, diaphragm and kidneys intact. ˙ Harvest period for eastern grey kangaroo 3.(1) This section applies to an eastern grey kangaroo ( Macropus giganteus ) that is the prescribed size and weight. (2) A harvest period for the eastern grey kangaroo starts on 1 January 1996 and ends on 31 December 1996. (3) The harvest period applies only in the local government areas specified for the eastern grey kangaroo in the schedule. ˙ Harvest period for wallaroo 4.(1) This section applies to a wallaroo ( Macropus robustus ) that is the prescribed size and weight. (2) A harvest period for the wallaroo starts on 1 January 1996 and ends on 31 December 1996. (3) The harvest period applies only in the local government areas specified for the wallaroo in the schedule.
s5 3 s6 Nature Conservation (Macropod Harvest Period) No. 359, 1995 ˙ Harvest period for whiptail wallaby 5.(1) This section applies to the whiptail wallaby ( Macropus parryi ). (2) A harvest period for the whiptail wallaby starts on 1 January 1996 and ends on 31 December 1996. (3) The harvest period applies only in the local government areas specified for the whiptail wallaby in the schedule. ˙ Harvest period for red kangaroo 6.(1) This section applies to a red kangaroo ( Macropus rufus ) that is the prescribed size and weight. (2) A harvest period for the red kangaroo starts on 1 March 1996 and ends on 31 December 1996. (3) The harvest period applies only in the local government areas specified for the red kangaroo in the schedule.

All local government areas other than Atherton, Aurukun, Brisbane, Cairns, Caloundra, Charters Towers, Cook, Cooloola, Dalby, Douglas, Eacham, Gladstone, Gold Coast, Goondiwindi, Hervey Bay, Hinchinbrook, Johnstone, Logan, Mackay, Mareeba, Maroochy, Maryborough, Mornington, Noosa, Pine Rivers, Redcliffe, Redland, Rockhampton, Roma, Thuringowa, Toowoomba, Torres, Townsville and Whitsunday. ˙ Wallaroo 2. All local governments other than Atherton, Aurukun, Brisbane, Bundaberg, Cairns, Caloundra, Charters Towers, Cook, Cooloola, Dalby, Douglas, Eacham, Gladstone, Gold Coast, Goondiwindi, Hervey Bay, Johnstone, Logan, Mackay, Mareeba, Maroochy, Maryborough, Mornington, Noosa, Pine Rivers, Redcliffe, Redland, Rockhampton, Roma, Thuringowa, Toowoomba, Torres, Townsville and Whitsunday. ˙ Whiptail wallaby 3.
