This notice may be cited as the Nature Conservation (Macropod Harvest Period) Amendment Notice (No. 3) 1996 . ˙ Notice amended 2. This notice amends the Nature Conservation (Macropod Harvest Period) Notice (No. 2) 1996 . ˙ Replacement of s 6 (Repeal) 3. Section 6— omit, insert— ˙ ‘Harvest period for red kangaroos ‘ 6.(1) A harvest period for red kangaroos that are the prescribed size and weight starts on 18 November 1996 and ends on 31 December 1996. ‘ (2) However, a person may take a red kangaroo only if the person uses a tag supplied for taking red kangaroos during the harvest period. ‘ (3) The harvest period applies only in the areas of the local governments stated for red kangaroos in the schedule.’. ˙ Amendment of schedule (Where harvest period applies) 4.(1) Schedule, ‘sections 4 and 5’— omit, insert— ‘sections 4, 5 and 6’, (2) Schedule, after item 1— insert— ˙ ‘ Red kangaroos ‘ 2. The areas of all local governments other than Atherton, Aurukun, Banana, Beaudesert, Biggenden, Boonah, Bowen, Brisbane, Broadsound, Bundaberg, Burdekin, Burnett, Caboolture, Cairns, Calliope, Caloundra,
