Nature Conservation Legislation Amendment Regulation (No. 4) 2008 Part 1 Preliminary [s 1] Part 1 Preliminary 1 Short title This regulation may be cited as the Nature Conservation Legislation Amendment Regulation (No. 4) 2008 . 2 Main purpose of regulation (1) The main purpose of this regulation is to revoke the dedication of the whole of the forest reserves mentioned in section 4 to allow the forest reserve (each a revoked forest reserve area ) to become a protected area. (2) Each revoked forest reserve area is dedicated as a protected area under part 3. Part 2 Amendment of Nature Conservation (Forest Reserves) Regulation 2000 3 Regulation amended in pt 2 This part amends the Nature Conservation (Forest Reserves)Regulation 2000. 4 Amendment of schedule (Forest reserves) Schedule, entries for Bluff Hill Forest Reserve, Gamma Forest Reserve and Mount Toby Forest Reserve— omit. (2) Schedule 2— insert— ‘Albinia National Park Lot 158 on plan NPW881 Sh 1 situated in the County of Denison, containing an area of about 7360ha Bluff Hill National Park Lot 228 on plan NPW946 situated in the County of Carlisle, containing an area of about 1806ha Eungella National Park Lot 31 on plan NPW947 situated in the counties of Carlisle and Hillalong, containing an area of about 59840ha Mount Martin National Park Lot 148 on plan NPW944 situated in the County of Carlisle, containing an area of about 2173ha’. 7 Amendment of sch 3 (Conservation parks) Schedule 3— 2008 SL No. 406 Page 3

Part 4 Expiry 9 Expiry This regulation expires at the beginning of the day after it commences.
