s1 2 s4 Nature Conservation (Duck and Quail Harvest No. 107, 1996 Period) ˙ Short title 1. This notice may be cited as the Nature Conservation (Duck and Quail Harvest Period) Notice 1996 . ˙ Harvest period for ducks 2.(1) A harvest period for ducks starts on 29 June 1996 and ends on 8 September 1996. (2) The harvest period applies in all local government areas other than the areas of the local governments in the schedule, item 1. (3) A person must not— (a) take more than 12 of each species of duck in a period of 24 hours; or (b) have in possession at a place, other than the person’s usual place of residence, more than 30 of each species of duck. ˙ Harvest period for quails 3.(1) A harvest period for quails starts on 1 June 1996 and ends on 25 August 1996. (2) The harvest period applies in all local government areas other than the areas of the local governments in the schedule, item 2. (3) A person must not— (a) take more than 25 quails (regardless of species) in a period of 24 hours; or (b) have in possession at a place, other than the person’s usual place of residence, more than 60 quails (regardless of species). ˙ Repeal 4. The Nature Conservation (Quail Harvest Period) Notice 1995 is repealed.
