This regulation may be cited as the Nature Conservation (Declaration of Nature Refuges) Amendment Regulation (No. 1) 1994 . ˙ Commencement 2. This regulation commences on 19 December 1994. ˙ Regulation amended 3. This regulation amends the NatureConservation(DeclarationofNature Refuges) Regulation 1994 . ˙ Replacement of s 1 (Short title) 4. Section 1— omit, insert— ˙ ‘ Short title ‘ 1. This regulation may be cited as the Nature Conservation (Protected Areas) Regulation 1994 .’. ˙ Renumbering of ss 2–4 5. Sections 2 to 4— renumber as sections 7 to 9. ˙ Insertion of new ss 2–6 6. After section 1— insert— ˙ ‘ Definitions ‘ 2. In this regulation— “forestry chief executive” means the chief executive of the department that

Each of the areas of Crown land described in column 2 of Schedule 1 is— (a) dedicated as a National Park (Scientific); and (b) assigned the name set opposite it in column 1 of the Schedule. ˙ ‘ Dedication and naming of National Parks ‘ 4. Each of the areas of Crown land described in column 2 of Schedule 2 is— (a) dedicated as a National Park; and (b) assigned the name set opposite it in column 1 of the Schedule. ˙ ‘ Dedication and naming of Conservation Parks ‘ 5. Each of the areas of Crown land described in column 2 of Schedule 3 is— (a) dedicated as a Conservation Park; and (b) assigned the name set opposite it in column 1 of the Schedule. ˙ ‘ Dedication, naming and trustees of Resources Reserves ‘ 6. Each of the areas of Crown land described in column 2 of Schedule 4 is— (a) dedicated as a Resources Reserve; and (b) assigned the name set out opposite it in column 1 of the Schedule; and
