Nature Conservation (Amendment) Ordinance 1984

An Ordinance to amend the Nature Conservation Ordinance 1980

Short title

1.  This Ordinance may be cited as the Nature Conservation (Amendment) Ordinance 1984.¹

Preservation of timber

2.  Section 43 of the Nature Conservation Ordinance 1980² is amended—

(a)by omitting from paragraph (1) (a) “the City Area” and substituting “a built-up area”; and

(b)by adding at the end thereof the following sub-section:

“(7)  In sub-section (1) ‘built-up area’ has the same meaning as in the Careless Use of Fire Ordinance 1936.”.
