An Ordinance to naturalize Bartolomi Ramis.

[Assented to 15t1t July, 1867.

HEREAS it is expedient to bring into operation the Ordinance

WRamis ; ' And whereas the said Bartolomi Ramis bath resided in andNo. 3 of 1866, intituled An Ordinance to naturalize Bartolomi

observed the laws of Western Australia during the period of fourteen years and upwards ; Be it therefore enacted by His Excellency the Governor of Western Australia and its dependencies, by and with the advice and consent of the Legislative Council thereof, as follows :-

1. The said recited Ordinance shall come into operation and the

operate on the said Bartolomi Ramis shall receive the benefit thereof, upon his takingoath of allegi-

ance being taken and subscribing the Oath of Allegiance to Her Most Gracious Majesty,

before the Chief Justice of the said Colony or any Justice of the Peace

thereof notwithstanding the suspending clause therein provided.
