This regulation may be cited as the Natural Resources Legislation Amendment Regulation (No. 2) 1999 . PART 2—AMENDMENT OF RIVER IMPROVEMENT TRUST REGULATION 1998 ˙ Regulation amended in pt 2 2. This part amends the River Improvement Trust Regulation 1998 . ˙ Omission of s 2 (Change of name of certain river improvement areas and trusts) 3. Section 2— omit. ˙ Replacement of pt 5 (Repeals) 4. Part 5— omit, insert— ‘ PART 5—TRANSFER OF ASSETS AND LIABILITIES OF UPPER PIONEER RIVER IMPROVEMENT TRUST ˙ ‘ Transfer—Act, s 3(3B)(c) ‘ 15. On the commencement of this part, the assets and liabilities of the

This part expires the day after it commences.’. ˙ Amendment of schedule (River improvement areas and trusts continued in existence) 5.(1) Schedule, entry for ‘Pioneer River Improvement Area’, column 3, ‘local government area of Mackay City Council’— omit, insert— ‘local government areas of Mackay City Council and Mirani Shire Council’.
