Native Vegetation Amendment (Private

Native Forestry) Regulation 2006

Native Vegetation Act 2003

Her Excellency the Governor, with the advice of the Executive Council, has made the following Regulation under the Native Vegetation Act 2003.

Explanatory note
The object of this Regulation is to extend the period of time for which clearing for the purposes of private native forestry operations may be continued without approval under the Native Vegetation Act 2003.

This Regulation is made under the Native Vegetation Act 2003, including section 51 (the general regulation-making power).

Native Vegetation Amendment (Private Native Forestry)

1      Name of Regulation

This Regulation is the Native Vegetation Amendment (Private Native
Forestry) Regulation 2006.

2 Amendment of Native Vegetation Regulation 2005

The Native Vegetation Regulation 2005 is amended by omitting the matter “6 months” from clause 41 (2) (b) and by inserting instead the matter “10 months”.
