1—Short title
These regulations may be cited as the National Wine Centre Regulations 1997.
2—Commencement
These regulations will come into operation on 21 August 1997.
3—Interpretation
In these regulations, unless the contrary intention appears—
Act means the National Wine Centre Act 1997.
4—Prescribed associations (section 10)
(1)For the purposes of section 10(2)(a) and (4) of the Act, the Winemakers' Federation of Australia Incorporated is prescribed as the association representative of the national wine industry.
(2)For the purposes of section 10(2)(b) of the Act, the following associations are prescribed as associations representative of the respective wine industries of the States of South Australia, New South Wales, Victoria and Western Australia:
(a)the South Australian Wine and Brandy Industry Association Incorporated;
(b)the New South Wales Wine Industry Association Incorporated;
(c)the Victorian Wine Industry Association Incorporated;
(d)the Wine Industry Association of Western Australia Incorporated.

Revocation of regulations
These regulations became obsolete on the repeal of the National Wine Centre Act 1997 on 21.8.2003.
