REGULATIONS
UNDER THE NATIONAL SECURITY ACT 1939-1943.*
I, THE
GOVERNOR-GENERAL in and over the Commonwealth of Australia, acting with the
advice of the Federal Executive Council, hereby make the following Regulations
under the National Security Act 1939-1943.

Amendments
of the National Security (Timber Control) Regulations.
Administration.
1. Regulation 2 of the National Security (Timber Control) Regulations
is amended by omitting the word “Munitions” and inserting in its stead the
words “Works and Housing”.
Definitions.
2.Regulation 4 of the National Security (Timber Control)
Regulations is amended by omitting from the definition of “the Controller” the
word “Munitions” and inserting in its stead the words “Works and Housing”.
Powers of Controller.
3. Regulation 6 of the National Security (Timber Control) Regulations
is amended by omitting paragraphs (e)
and (f).
Compensation for entering upon, or passing
and re-passing over land.
4. Regulation 9a
of the National Security (Timber Control) Regulations is repealed.
Saving of instruments of Controller.
5.Any order, requirement or direction made or given
under the National Security (Timber Control) Regulations, and in force
immediately prior to the commencement of these Regulations, shall continue in
force as if it had been made or given by the Controller of Timber of the
Department of Works and Housing under the National Security (Timber Control) Regulations,
as amended by these Regulations, and may be revoked, amended or varied
accordingly.
