REGULATION UNDER THE NATIONAL SECURITY ACT 1939-1940.*

I, THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL in and over the Commonwealth of Australia, acting with the advice of the Federal Executive Council, hereby make the following Regulation under the National Security Act 1939-1940.

Amendment of the National Security (Tea Control) Regulations.

After regulation 9 of the National Security (Tea Control) Regulations the following regulation is inserted:—

Extension of these Regulations to coffee.

9a. Regulation 9 of these Regulations shall be read and construed as if any reference therein to tea included a reference to coffee and the powers of the Board thereunder with respect to the purchase, importation and distribution of tea shall be extended to coffee accordingly.”.
