1943. No. 30.

REGULATION UNDER THE NATIONAL SECURITY ACT 1939–1940.*

I, THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL in and over the Commonwealth of Australia, acting with the advice of the Federal Executive Council, hereby make the following Regulation under the National Security Act 1939–1940.

Amendment of the National Security (Supplementary) Regulations.

The National Security (Supplementary) Regulations are amended by adding at the end thereof the following regulation:—

Eligibility of females for membership of Amalgamated Engineering Union.

“90. Notwithstanding anything contained in the rules of the Amalgamated Engineering Union (Australian Section), female persons employed to perform any work which may be performed by the classifications of employees mentioned in the constitution rule of that organization shall be eligible to become members of that organization upon compliance with the rules thereof other than the constitution rule.”.
