STATUTORY RULES.
REGULATION UNDER THE NATIONAL SECURITY ACT 1939-1940.*
I, THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL in and over the
Commonwealth of Australia, acting with the advice of the Federal Executive
Council, hereby make the following Regulation under the

Amendment of National Security (Supplementary) Regulations.
After regulation 14 of the National Security (Supplementary) Regulations the following regulation is added:—
“15.—(1.)
Notwithstanding anything contained in the

of the granting to the person holding, at the commencement of this regulation,
the office of Chairman of the Repatriation Commission, of leave of absence for
any period during which he is holding the office of Commonwealth Coal Commissioner,
the Governor-General may appoint a person to act as a Commissioner under the
