STATUTORY RULES.
REGULATION UNDER THE NATIONAL SECURITY ACT 1939-1940.*

THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL in and over the Commonwealth of Australia, acting with the
advice of the Federal Executive Council, hereby make the following Regulation
under the

Amendment of National Security (Supplementary) Regulations.
The National Security (Supplementary) Regulations are amended by adding at the end thereof the following regulation:—
“57. Until after a date
to be fixed by the Minister of State for Commerce by notice in the
(
a ) a poll of growers in any State shall not be taken in pursuance of section 4 of theApple and Pear Organization Act 1938 for the purpose of the election of members of the Australian Apple and Pear Board representing growers in that State; and(
b ) it shall not be necessary for the report referred to in section 25 of that Act to be made to the Minister.”.
